Idea #2 Make Your Own Non-Toxic Play Dough Name Magnets!
How To Make Non-Toxic Fun For Kids Play Dough

1 cup flour (not self-rising)
1/2 cup salt
 1 cup water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1-1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar

Mix in saucepan over low heat until rolls into a ball. Keep dough fresh in an airtight container to store. Add food coloring while mixing over heat if desired.  Roll dough out until about 1/2" thick around, and shape into desired letters.  Let dry completely.  You can then paint the letters, or add decorations to them.  Glue magnets on the back, and Voila!
